![]() I've listened to Shinedown since the first album. The band still sounds great, but none of the songs stick out for me and overall I find it to be their weakest. That said, I'm not alright is in my top 5 of their songs because it helped me through my first major heartbreak so well. They started straying too far into the high production modern rock sound that I don't really enjoy too much. Then I discovered Tool and haven't looked back, haha. The Sound of Madness comes in at a close third for me, mostly because it came out when I first picked up bass, and I used it to push myself into being a better rock player. ![]() Then Leave a Whisper, because it seems specifically designed to just show off Brent's incredible voice. For me in order of greatness my opinion goes Us And Them at the best Shinedown will ever sound. I was disappointed to see the OP not mention anything off the first 2 albums.
